Geo-Fencing
This solution allows you to control who receives your stream based on their location geographically. You can block out audiences from some locations and/or only allow an audience from another certain location.
This service is particularly useful for broadcasting sporting or special events suitable for rights only streaming, where access to the stream might be limited to an audience in a particular location only. NetroMedia’s Geo-Fencing solution will also work with on demand or archived content.
Pay Per View Integration
One of the greatest uses of the NetroMedia Geo-Fencing solution is with a pay per view system. Where users can pay for rights restricted access content (like sporting events) depending on where the broadcast is being accessed from. Other broadcasters may need to restrict the access of existing PPV clients based on location and content publisher agreements or arrangements. Or finally, based on location, paid content can differ based on where it is broadcast to. This may be the content itself or the ads played in the content.

How does it work?
NetroMedia’s Geo-Fencing instantly determines where a particular viewer or listener is geographically located when they click on your streaming link. Once the location has been confirmed it is cross checked with the set of allowances you determine. If the location is allowed the stream is activated, if the location is not allowed the stream cannot be played.

Initial set up pricing is dependant of the level of control required for your streaming project. The simplest set up would be for 1 live stream GeoFenced to one country. From there the complexity can increase based on:
