Select "Back" or "Forward" to move through the learning pages or select the specific link that suits you the best.
There are two primary ways to stream live content:
  1. Pull
  2. Push
Pull
Using a Pull connection is the most stable.
It is recomended for anyone doing Live broadcasts lasting more than 3 hours, especially for people broadcasting 24/7.
When using a Pull method, our server is constantly looking for content coming from your encoder. To do this, it need a static IP address to connect to.
Learn how to set-up a Live Pull here.
Push
Using a Push connection is less stable, but allows you to broadcast from any computer in the world with an Encoder installed.
It is recomended for people who are doing Live broadcasts from multiple locations, or people doing short broadcasts who cannot get a static IP address.
Firewalls and router configuration are not necessary when using a Push.
Learn how to set-up a Live Push here.

  Client Feedback

"Gentlemen: I would like to extend my personal thanks to you for your support in establishing the video stream for the Legislature. Your technical guidance was right on the mark and NetroMedia’s process for implementing video streaming was amazingly simple. I am also finding that NetroMedia’s online reporting tools are very popular with our technical staff. Thank you again, "
