And NetroMedia takes advantage of this fact and preloads your clients’ player with your stream. The end result is lightening quick buffering times and very satisfied clients.
Here’s an example, you may have a 1 minute video encoded at 300k that a user on a corporate network wishes to watch (stream). Instead of sending him 300k during the buffering stage, NetroMedia’s Buffer-Blaster will take full advantage of the end users available bandwidth and speed load the content (or stream) at 600k. These preloading speeds can actually out run a DVD player.
FireStream Technology
